This photographic work invetigates aesthetic traces of the fundamental social reorganisation of the swedish society by social democrats since the 30s. Folkhemmet („the home of the people“) is the political metaphor for the underlying political concepts and also signifies the period of time (1932-76) in which Sweden was ruled continously by the social democratic party.
