Set in a virtual environment and using scripted actors, be yourself! is a project based around a fictional reality TV show. The participants compete against each other to win the show by being most themself. Be yourself! was shot in a 'blue box' with a virtual stage mapped digitally onto it.
The project be yourself! is presented in different formats. Besides the web page, which both promotes the fictitious tv show and presents the background of the project, there are various video edits, and different forms of installations. In live performances actors adopt the characters of the show and create further scenes and conflicts.
